How to forgive a cheating spouse

To forgive is a GREAT selfish act of self-preservation!
1. You need time to think; don't make any *rash* calls you will regret.
2. While you are thinking - somewhat rationally - you need to decide...but again; not rashly - it takes time - perhaps a seperation helps.
Do you WANT to forgive them and still have a relationship? It appears that you do because you asked HOW, not if you should, etc.... In that case; these are the things I would recommend and have seen work & done as well.

One hubber answered this question and said:
" Forgiving is realizing that we all come short of perfection through our actions..." the divine route - God stuff/mercy, etc...

================

I say:

===============
The MAIN thing is, if we don't forgive, it only hurts US!! It doesn't hurt the person we are resenting - it eats US alive, not them. SO we forgive to be free - we have suffered enough.
To forgive is a selfish act of self-preservation!!

3. At first, as you know if it has happened to you, it rather feels like someone has DIED once you get over the initial shock/anger/betrayl/etc...parts.

Once you realize YOU didn't do it and nobody died and it ISN'T your fault - you may then experience the *DeadZone*; I know for my sister-in-law it took her 2 YEARS to get past it and she Did stay in the same house but he worked out of town. She expressed the feeling as - "It felt like someone I loved had died."

4. You must decide if you want to fix it-the both of you. Talking about it rationally and honestly - getting everything out on the table - why it happened, one night stand, long term affair? Long-term is MUCH harder to deal with and far more complex issues. It is not a one-sided (excuse the pin) affair, no matter HOW much you want to believe/think it is.

5. Learning the root cause is important - a neutral professional party is often VERY helpful as emotions generally are running high. If the cheater will not go to counseling, etc...with you - well, you have your answer - leave it. It can't work if they are not willing to try and to meet you at least half way. That they are, in fact, really SAD this happened; not sad they got caught! That they are truly deeply sorry and you *know* it.

There is Anger and betrayl on one side; and (assuming the cheater is usually Not a cheater and a decent person) - they feel shame and guilt. This is an enormous amount of emotion to get through and TIME and WORKing on it is KEY.

If the cheater shows or feels no remorse - I say it's a doomed relationship on any marital level. Leave it.

5. How much do you love/like them? IMPORTANT! I know people who stay together *for the kids* or their assets. If that is why - probably leave it. It isn't easy but how much does happiness mean to you?

Bottom line I feel, If you both really DO love each other - you CAN heal - IF you can figure out what went wrong; why it happened. EVERYONE makes mistakes....this all really hinges on how both parties FEEL being totally HONEST.

6. BIG - if you do choose to end it - find a way to LEAVE the Resentment or it will eat you alive. Resentments only hurt you - not the person you are resenting -- they have hurt you enough by now - don't let it fester and have resentment/revenge on your mind - it only hurts YOU and YOU have been hurt enough...no need to hurt Yourself by this further.

I would LOVE to see this expanded on in the comments - I will add good stuff to the hub article! :}

Good luck and may you heal - either way you really DO get to decide.

How to Unlock a Cell / Mobile Phone

How to Unlock a Cell / Mobile Phone
This is How to Unlock a Cell Phone

Techniques for unlocking a cell phone vary between cell phone models and between carriers.

First thing to do is to simply Ask Your Carrier for the Unlock Code. Some carriers will tell your your unlock code and some won't. They will be more likely to tell you if your account is paid in full. Some carriers won't tell you if your service contract has expired. Other carriers will never ever tell you your unlock code under any circumstances...they are just ...ummm....jerks?

Here are some I know of.
Sprint refuses to provide unlock codes to ANY of their customers. (So, maybe just never use them!)

T-Mobile will provide unlock codes to customers after your subscription has been active for 90 days.

AT&T/Cingular CDMA phones are shipped already unlocked (BONUS!)

AT&T/Cingular will provide unlocking codes only for their GSM phones; I am completely uncertain why that is.

Nokia codes for some model phones can be discovered using the online calculator here at Nokia Free.

LG unlocking calculator website performs a similar service for LG cell phones as Nokia does.

The ultimate calculator does unlock codes for some Nokia, some Panasonic and some Siemens cell phones.

So if you have lucked out and they have given you the code, you then simply enter it into the phone on the cell phones keypad. Some providers are even able to unlock phones remotely over the air!

The calculation method really is a kewl little trick. Some providers use unlock codes which are calculated from the IMEI of the mobile telephone. IMEI stands for (International Mobile Equipment Identity) and is a unique 15 or 17 digit code used to identify an individual mobile station to a GSM or UMTS network. The IMEI number easily identifies a mobile phone being used on a GSM (Global System for Mobile Communications) network.

The IMEI is also useful for stopping a phone that has been stolen from you being used. Cell phone owners that have their phones stolen can call their service carrier and ask them to shut the phone down using its IMEI number. With an IMEI number, the phone can be banned from service quickly and easily.

**** It is important to note that swapping a SIM card will not stop a phone from being shut down.

Some cell phone service providers use random unlock codes. These codes cannot be calculated.

Another tip to try.
If your cellular service provider won't help you and you cannot calculate the unlock code for your cell phone, you may be able to unlock your mobile phone with a clip. A clip is a cable that connects your cell phone to your computer. You can then install software onto your computer which will reprogram the cell phone and will remove the lock all together!

If all this still fails you, you are going to have to resort to using a service to unlock the cell phone for you. There are alot of these services online that will charge you a fee to unlock your phone for you. The fees vary but are usually not too high; much less than having to obtain another cell phone. Here is one such site as an example; there are many more.

Good luck!

The Pedophile's Secret Code

Although this has nothing to do with cell phones it needs to be noted and put up on every website possible. There are no words for how sick this is.
http://www.slate.com/id/2179052/entry/2179053/

Every subculture speaks its own dialect, and pedophiles are no exception. Hence the FBI's January 2007 "intelligence bulletin" on "symbols and logos used by pedophiles to identify sexual preferences." The document (see Pages 2-4), was prepared and distributed to FBI divisions and field offices earlier this year by the Cyber Division's Innocent Images National Initiative. These are the G-men and -women who work on cases involving child exploitation and sexual abuse.
Did you know that "boylovers" make their presence known with a "small blue spiral-shaped triangle surrounded by a larger triangle"? The larger triangle signifies an adult male; the smaller triangle, a boy. If the boylover wishes to emphasize the smallness of the boys he covets, then he uses the "little boy lover" logo, which is more rounded and thinner than the boylover logo, apparently to "resemble a scribbling by a young child." Males or females whose taste runs to young girls identify themselves with a logo showing one heart inside a larger heart, while "non-preferential gender child abusers" indicate their enthusiasms with a butterfly logo made up of two large hearts and two smaller hearts. These logos are sometimes incorporated into jewelry or even stamped onto coins. (See Pages 2 and 3.)

voip Technology

World over, telephone users are finding new ways of speaking with each other, by using VoIP services. VoIP technology is a way of transmitting voice data using Internet Protocol through the World Wide Web. So, with computer as the transmission media, it allows the user to go for Global conversation at any time. Services offered over VoIP are very inexpensive and are considered as an efficient mode of world wide communication.

Voice over IP refers to transmitting voice communication over IP network, for instance Internet. Unlike PSTN, through VoIP technology user can send images, videos or voice through the same line. The service of VoIP is to terminate the international long distance calls coming over the IP to the destination PSTN.

To define VoIP Service; user's analog voice is converted into small packets of digital data and sent over Internet connection to VoIP service provider. Voice service provider gets it connected with PSTN at recipient's end and then the process of receiving is reversed. The digital packets are turned back to analog signals, so that user can understand conversation. Each time you speak, the process is repeated. With VoIP services, any user can make calls at any given time period. While accessing the VoIP services, user accesses long distance and international calls at cheaper rates.

To avail VoIP, users have to install additional piece of Analog Telephone Adaptor (ATA) to its computer. This ATA is generally supplied by the VoIP service provider when user signs up for the service. Once the user phone is installed with VoIP software and ATA, user can make phone calls as normal; using standard phone. VoIP services offer users to make multifarious processes at same time; for instance while surfing the web, user can talk to his friend over the phone. Moreover, unlike PSTN with VoIP service, a user can listen to voice transmission without any gap in stream of digital packets.

Catch a Cheater by Phone

Catch a Cheater by Phone

Does he or she have a cell phone? Does their cell phone bill come to the house or to a private post office box? Does the same number appear throughout the working day and during those times that he or she is "working late"?

Do an Internet "reverse search" of the phone number or go to a pay phone and call to see who answers (if you are really brave!) . With caller ID you don't want to be caught calling his girlfriend so using a pay phone allows the number not to be identified. When you make the call you can hang up when someone answers (but this will give you limited information about this person unless the call goes to an answering machine or a business; then you can pretend to have dialed the wrong number and ask for "Susan" or "Jeff" and hope that the person who answers will give something up - say something like "No, this is...."

Not finding a phone trail doesn't mean he or she isn't making calls since he or she might be using those temporary pre-paid calling cards that you can buy almost anywhere or a tracfone and that leaves no trace.

Fortunately for you, most of the time there IS a trace.
Get the access code for the business phone and play back the messages.
Most men want something a little more convenient so even if they are using one of those pre paid calling cards for calls to the *other cheater* he or she'll probably slip-up on occasion and leave a trail you can follow, as long as you simply know how.

Does he or she have a separate bank account? Okay, so maybe he or she had a few checks left over from when the two of you got together, maybe you've been married for ten years... and he or she still has that account? And the statements go to that private post office box of his? Or that PO box that he or she just recently set up for some *lame* reason?

Cheaters Check List--What to Look for

He or she carries condoms in wallet, purse, pockets or vehicle. If you find a condom, don't mention it but put a small mark on the or she wrapper and check for it when you can. If the mark disappears, you're probably looking at a new condom -- so what happened to the other one if you don't use them together?

Check the roladex, calendars or day planners. If your mate has more than a *casual* friend, you may find a birthday noted on the appropriate page and, if you are lucky you'll find a name, a phone number, a work phone number, pager number, cell phone number, and even other personal data listed among business contacts. BINGO!
If he or shes evasive about little things and big things and virtually everything or he or she just doesn't want to carry on a conversation with you. Possibly because he or she is having a difficult time remembering what you know and what you don't know about their activities.

You are both visiting with friends when you catch a story of something that recently (or fairly recently) happened in a recreational setting or in a location that you've never been and you weren't aware that he or she'd visited either. Big tipoff is when they just spilled information that they didn't want you to know.

You notice that one of your friends and your spouse are talking a lot and she or she calls the or she house to get his advice which usually means long phone calls in low tones in a separate room. You notice that the or shey seem to smile at each othe or sher quite often and particularly whe or shen the or shey think no one is watching and if the or shere is an occasion to hug the or shey seem to hug a little longer and more enthusiastically than you'd like. he or she says you're imagining things whe or shen you ask if the or shere's something going on between the or she two of the or shem and she or she has eithe or sher become even more involved in your life or now seems to be occupied elsewhe or shere most of the or she time. One friend suspected he or sher best friend of being the or she othe or sher woman whe or shen he or sher spouse and he or sher best friend were always unavailable at the or she same time. he or sher suspicions turned out to be right on.
Does he or she keep a fully stocked travel bag in his car? Do they need to? If he or she does and they are not "traveling" -- at least not that you know of -- do the items in the bag change? You might suspect (even out-right KNOW) that your spouse is cheating and you may find enough evidence to prove that, but what you do with the evidence is another matter. Only you can decide.
They say they are working late but when you call the office, you get voicemail and when he or she finally does get home, they say the phone system isn't working at the office or has some other lame excuse for not calling you back or answering in the first place. That could happen, but not on a regular basis. What's important here is to be able to "read" the excuse -- are they defiant or defensive about it?
If he or she says he or she's working late but you can't get in touch with him, call one of his co-workers (or a co-worker's spouse) and casually inquire about the or she overtime situation or the or she recent excessive workload.
They say they are going to be home at a certain time, but show up late; smelling of alcohol saying they stopped for a few drinks and didn't *think* to call home. Valid once or twice but more than that and you've just got to wonder .....

They don't want you to visit at work -- for any reason. If he or she has convinced a co-worker that your relationship is over, they certainly don't want you showing up looking like the loving spouse. Nor do they want you to run into the office gossip who just might want to fill you in on the details of some *office romance*.
Do the stories change and the excuses seem flimsy as to why they were out late or why they must work late? Some people leave the office at 5 o'clock; only to show up at home well after midnight because they had a flat tire on the freeway. How many times will you buy that excuse or something similar? They say company functions are for employees only, spouses are not allowed to attend. Legitimate for some functions but parties and overnights?

If you don't have any contact with mates of your spouse's co-workers, is it your choice or your spouse's? If it's your mates choice then perhaps it's high time to call a wife/husband and invite them to a casual lunch. Some men who cheat want everyone but you to know how "studly" they are and a co-worker's mate may just be bursting to tell you all about your spouse's affair.

How intimately emotionally involved is your mate with you? Do they seem "distant" and/or "uninterested"? Maybe they have always been this way, but if this is new behavior, it may be an indication that someone else has their emotional attention!

He has an open account with a local florist but he or she never sends you any flowers.

They used to remember every romantic holiday with a card or little gift or a romantic outing just for the two of you. Not lately. Is there new stress in their job, do they have a physical problem that needs medical attention... or... is he or she directing their romantic energy elsewhere?

Your sex life has changed dramatically. He or she wants more, he or she wants less, he or she's never interested, he or she's always interested, he or she is trying new techniques. Some men exhaust themselves in their sexual affairs and don't have enough energy for anything else - in the family or in the bedroom.

When the two of you go out together, does it seem that you're always running into the same *person*, perhaps a co-worker? If he or she is having an affair, he or she may be fully aware that you're still actively in the picture and the two of them may be taking every opportunity to be in the or she same places at the or she same time just so they can get a casual glimpse of each other.

Walk away from him in a public setting and watch the two of them from a distance. Do they look longingly in each others direction? What is the expression if they notice you watching? Is there guilt on the face? Triumph in the others?
If you look through the wallet or purse, are they still carrying photos of you and the kids or are the family reminders of you missing? In the office, are the family photos on that desk?? -- particularly those of you and kids?

Do they have a post office box for personal mail? Perhaps the regular bills and general correspondence still come to your regular mailing address, but some people need to hide credit card charges and other bills and correspondence that would clue you to an affair. Do they have an unfamiliar key on their keyring? Do you know what it opens? Is there any legitimate reason for them to be receiving mail that you can't read?

Things You Can To Do

Keep your mouth closed and your eyes and ears open.
Keep a detailed journal of your spouse's activities.
See if there is a pattern to your spouse's "extra" times away.
Record times and dates of phone calls that are hang-ups and/or wrong numbers.
Check pockets, etc... for strange receipts.
If your spouse travels, call back a couple hours after the "nightly phone call home".
Call unknown phone numbers from a pay phone, say nothing, see if you can identify who answers.
Smell your spouse's clothing.
Check the mileage on the car before and after trips.
Become unpredictable.
Show up at your spouse's office for lunch without notice.
Say you're working late when you plan on being home early or on time.
Read their email.
Hire a private detective to follow them.
Act as though you believe everything they say.
Ask your spouse's friends casual questions about activities they supposedly have done together.
Play dumb.
Keep a record of discrepancies in your spouse's stories.

If you let your spouse know you suspect them of cheating, they are apt to make fewer mistakes than if you play dumb. Do not accuse your spouse of cheating until you have enough evidence to prove it and you're ready to take action. If you are cheating on your spouse, Please do not assume that your spouse is cheating on you!!

Mobile searches - WAP WAP...? Mobile rendering...

Mobile rendering is still a major problem...There is SO much $$$ to be made here that I personally do NOt understand why this is taking so long. How hard can it be?

My own WAP site that I have tested is viewable on only about 25% of mobiles. This is not a stat; just my own experience with WAP technology; and it is bleak; which is a real bummer!

Think how handy - WAP sites are SO easy to build - there are Millions of people browsing on their cells - (or trying to)...I hope someone gets it right soon - they sure will be the next google guys money wise. Mobile internet....it's would there but what are you actually able to SEE.
